    Company The artistic director, Professor Shin Junghee founded ‘Shin Jung-hee Ballet Company’
    in 1982.Her Company has been presenting various classical and creative performances both in home and abroad (France, U.S. and Russia).
    Also, she has been exerting herself to development and promotion of local dance community.
    As the director of Busan Branch of Korean Line Dance Association, Professor Shin educates the prominent and
    young instructors for distributing and promoting Line Dance in Busan.
    Performance The Line Dance originated in America. This dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people
    dance in one or more lines without regard for the age or gender.
    Thus, the practitioners and dancers may be refreshed with delightful music and light body-movement.
    Line Dance reached Europe and Asia as well as rest of the world. Today, it holds a significant position in
    festival dance genre with various modifications of steps.

    Company The Chang Yoo Kyung Dance Company makes an attempt to integrate the Korean traditional dance into public sentiment.
    These efforts allowed the Company to be honored with many awards and prizes (1993 Daegu Dance Festival, 1993 Korean Dance Festival,
    1994 Seoul Dance Festival, 2010 PAF-The Performing Arts & Film Review, Korean Dance Association Awards, Korean Dance Critiques Association Awards, 32th Daegu Cultural Awards 2012 and 20th Korean Art of Dance Awards).
    The renowned Company continues to create and present very much Korean performances, especially in city of Daegu.
    Also, it exerts its best efforts to celebrate Korean traditional dance at both home and abroad.
    Performance We are crossing the boundary line every day.

    Company and made its debut at Merce Cunningham Theater. The Company attempts to discover what is very Korean out of the very contemporary dance.
    Company produced more than 88 works so far; the idea of Return to Nature is portrayed in ‘Dong-dong(floating)’ and ‘Tho-woo (an ancient clay doll)’,
    the history of national ordeals and vicissitudes of mothers are portrayed in ‘The Mother’, and an Earth, the Horse of Wind, the Moon over the mountain temple,
    Whirlwind, the Tho-woo series, a Bundle-handkerchief, D-30, River, the Moon of Beolgyo, Station, I am the Dance and an on so forth

    The one may run away from himself.

    Company The MYU Ballet Company was founded under thecollective efforts of Professor Woo Hey Young (Yeungnam University)
    and distinguished dancers from Universal Ballet Company and Korean National Ballet Company. While having annual showcase,
    the Company has been participating in various dance festivals and competitions with remarkable performances.
    As the flag ship ballet company of Daegu, the Company is exerting substantial efforts to develop and promote the ballet at home,
    through collaboration with musical concerts or operas.
    The repertory of performances includes‘Fairy tale Ballet: The Wolf-series’ (‘Little Red Riding and Wolf’),
    ‘Cinderella’,‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Nongae- Dance of 10 finger rings’, ‘Music Paper-Arts and Love of Schubert, ‘Game’ and ‘Dinner table’.
    Performance The ‘Waltz of Flowers’is the most famous suite of Tchaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker’.
    It is played at the last part of various divertissements that about Cookies with Clara.
    The performance is inspired by the ‘Fairy of Flowers’ and ‘Fairy of Dew’.
