    Company MetuaVahine Ego is a collaboration of Hiromi, a Hula & Tahitian dancer (Tokyo, Japan)and Lee Go-un,
    a manager of Ego Dance (Busan, Korea). The Company is trying to promote Tahitian dance in Korea.
    Performance Otea&Aparima (selection from Tahitian Dance) *otea: traditional Tahitian dance with music (mainly drum) at a fast rhythm *aparima:

    Company The ‘Zoom’ is the progressive contemporary dance company, having been established in 1988.
    The Company has been looking for possibility of alternative way of dancing all the time.
    Also, the members-contemporary dance performers- are brave enough to try every kind of experimental choreography.
    Although, it has been already 27 years, all of members are still stick to what they had in their heart.
    As the flagship contemporary dance company in Busan, the‘Zoom’ presents a showcase every year with new repertories.
    Performance Dismal state of Korean economy… We don’t remember when, but we know it is really difficult to get a job, especially for fresh graduates.
    Every news papers and television channels talk about deteriorating economic condition. It is getting harder to have ordinary life.
    Guess that how many people can find and have so-called ‘vocation’.
    Presumably, they do not care what they want to be. Rather, they just do look for money-making.
    After long ‘blue days’…
    people experience frustration and….
    some people take their own lives…

    Company The ‘Chung Hwa Dance Company’was founded by practitioners of ‘DongnaeGomu’ (Intangible Cultural Asset of BusanNo.10).
    The Company aims to preserve the traditional folk dance of Busanand the heritage of dance master, Kim On-kyung(also known Chung Hwa Dang).
    Performance The ‘Hak Chum’ is a crane dance performed in Dongnae, Busan. The dancer is inspired by the movements of crane and its features blended with the classical movements of Korean dance.
    Also, the black hat and white dress stands for the elegant appearance of crane..

    It is also inspired by the primitive nature of youthfulness, by referring the mountain and sea.
    This performance makes the audiences to recover their insensitive body so, that they can find their own creative power.
